Who we are
Parlaid is operated by ProveHouse LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, which is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Privacy questions or requests: [email protected].
The short version
Parlaid is built to know almost nothing about you. The core product works with no account at all. If you do create an account, we ask for a username and a password — not your email address, not your name, not anything else.
What we collect
- Account data (only if you register): your username and a salted hash of your password — never the password itself. We do not collect an email address.
- Saved backtests and paper bots (only if you use them): the strategy rules you save and the simulated results and paper-bot ledgers computed from them, linked to your account.
- Leaderboard submissions: the handle you choose, the strategy rule, and its backtested result. Leaderboard entries are public by design.
- IP addresses, transiently: used in memory for rate limiting only. They are not written to a database and disappear when the server restarts.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal data — we barely hold any. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies: if you log in, your session is a token stored in your own browser's local storage. We do not connect to sportsbooks or betting accounts, so we never see betting or financial activity.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic. It is cookieless: it does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across sites. We see aggregate counts (page views, referrers, country-level location), not individual profiles.
Service providers and data sources
- Anthropic — powers "Build it with AI" and the AI analyst commentary. The strategy description you type, or the backtest report being analyzed, is sent server-side to Anthropic's API. No account information is included.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the signup form, when enabled.
- Sentry — server-side error monitoring, when enabled; configured to collect errors only, with no personal data attached.
- Sports and market data (ESPN, nflverse, Polymarket, Kalshi) flows into the Service; nothing about you is sent to these sources.
Retention
Account records are kept while your account exists. Saved backtests, paper-bot state, and leaderboard entries may be reset when the Service is redeployed on our current hosting — where that applies, the interface says so. To ask about or remove your data, email [email protected]; note that because accounts have no email attached, we may be unable to verify ownership of an account after credentials are lost.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
